A Less Than Ideal Week...
Well.Sunday night I couldn't turn my brain off. Didn't sleep at all. Monday night, Luna had diarrhea twice. Luckily she asks to go out when she's sick (even for puking, if we are home), but unlucky for me it was at 11pm and then 2am when she asked, before I had to wake up again at 5am for work. Both dogs were throwing up, peeing and pooping in the house for the next two days while we were at work. I decided it was their food, and we immediately stopped it and got them a different kind, plus I was finally able to get Luna in to the vet to get her shot so that helped her out too. Tuesday night was the same, Luna asked to go out at 10pm and 4am cause she was still sick. Wednesday night, sadly, Derek's grandpa passed away. He will be traveling to West Virginia for the funeral in the next week or so. I really wish I could go to be there with him and support his family, but I have to stay home with the dogs. It costs too much to board them both, and I haven't gotten paid yet this month. Thursday night I got news about how unbelievably stupid my brother and his girlfriend are. There has been no sleep in the Tice house for 5 days. The dogs are better now, though, so there's that.We have both been unbelievably stressed at work- him with a new security program install that he is the head of, and me with teaching. I learned when the principal of the new school that I want to work at is coming to meet me and watch me teach, so now I'm ultra stressed. Mainly because if I don't get placed at that school, I don't want to go anywhere else. It is my ultimate dream teaching position. And I'm worried because the county can move me anywhere in the county, if I don't get it. And we can't look for a new house until we know where I will be teaching, so that's stressful too.On a more positive side note, I got my 3rd client for my Social Media Management business! It was a social media consultation and some other info, and will possibly turn into an SEO overhaul. I'm excited to see how I can help her business grow. This summer I will be putting a laser focus on my own business, with the hopes of going full time in less than 5 years. It has been a struggle managing 2 different businesses social media accounts on top of having a full time job that I still don't feel confident with. Its like having 2 part time and 1 full time job all at the same time. Not including my own chores at home haha. Not gunna lie, laundry and dishes have fallen to the wayside.I believe I will catch up on cleaning around the house, and then gorge myself on extra creamy vanilla ice cream tonight.
