A New Direction
East? I thought you said Weest!I'm doing it. I'm changing directions again, but I think I finally figured it out. I'm going to dive head first into teaching myself graphic design, web design, photography, and videography. LORT IM SKURRD.But for real, I will probably be asking for lots of advice in the coming months, so PLEASE leave comments, share my posts, and whatever other lovely things you feel like doing to help me out! Also, if you are just here to read, that's fine too. :)Okay, step 1 is to get out of this teaching certificate program that is literally sucking my soul out. I've already talked to my principle and stuff, so I know I'm not going to lose my job or anything which is good. Gotta email the program director and let her know I've chosen to postpone 'til next year. Then I'll be free.I wanted to share the birthday invitation I designed for Aubrey's little boy with you guys today. Graphic design friends, what can I improve on? I'm proud of it, but I also see things I could fix and places I could spend more time on. I'm sure I will feel this way about everything- like how its not perfect and I have to work on it until it is, but I also know it probably will never be perfect. Anyways, here it is:I used Photoshop for his name inside the logo and for cutting out the car from a picture I found on the web. Not sure if this will be deleted under copy write law or anything, but all images are owned and made by Pixar/Disney?... Do I have to say that? hahahI loved this project. It was honestly SO much fun to design this invite for my bestie and I'm just thrilled by how much she liked it. I would really like to do another invitation type project soon, so if anyone has any ideas, hit me up!I can't wait to start blogging more. I'm going to try to do at least one post a week, along with working on my Instagram, Luna's Instagram, my YouTube channel, and my Facebook page. Big. Things. Are. Happening. Weeeee!!! Please like, share, subscribe, comment, etc. and thanks for reading, guys!!Jessica
