Quick and Easy Dining Room Remodel for Under $200!
We remodeled our dining room this weekend/week!I am currently on my Thanksgiving break and I have a cold. Awesome. But I knew I wanted to fix up the dining room this week, so I just pushed as hard as I could to get it done. We are really proud of how it turned out! These are pics from before (before we moved in), during the remodel, and after it was finished, (feat. Luna). I used a Behr paint called Deep Olive or something for the walls and I LOVE it. I painted our table white, and replaced the curtains and the blinds (the dogs had ruined the blinds). Derek is my Hero for hanging our new chandelier which was more difficult than we expected. But he did it and it looks great!! I'm so happy with it and I can't believe we spent less than $200 on everything. It's amazing how changing just a few little things can change the entire look of the room!
- Wall Paint (~$30)
- Chandelier (on sale for $40!!!)
- Blinds (~$30)
- Curtain rod (~$30)
- Curtains (~$40)
It really makes our whole house look better too, because its visible right when you walk in the front door. The paint, blinds and chandelier are from Home Depot, and the curtain rod and curtains are from Target. Next project is the Kitchen! I want to paint it the same deep olive color, paint the cabinets white, add hardware to the cabinets, and replace the backsplash with white subway tile. That may have to wait until Christmas break though.... :)Are you the kind of person to do big projects all at once, or spread them out a little along the way? Let me know in the comments below!Love,Jess
