Best Maternity Clothes- Affordable!

One of my goals was to not spend a ton of money on a whole new wardrobe that I would wear for approximately 4-6 months. Luckily I mostly wear scrubs, but I still needed weekend/evening clothes for this rapidly changing body of mine. Some very sweet girls from work gave me a huge box of their old maternity clothes which helped me get started, and also helped me determine what I was more likely to wear vs. not. My fave places for clothes so far have been Amazon and Target, and there have been hits and misses from both.

Today I wanted to share the best of the best, my most worn, my holy grails of maternity clothes because I know there are some girls out there like me who get overwhelmed with shopping both off and online! **I am due August 1st, so the majority of my maternity clothes are for spring/summer, just so you know! P.s. this post contains affiliate links so if you purchase through them, you'll help support my blog at no additional cost to you! Thanks in advance! :)**

Best Maternity Tops

Target. These tshirts are honestly so comfy. They fit nicely, are soft and stretchy, and will expand with your growing bump! They come in a few different color combos too! I love pairing them with the denim shorts linked below PLUS I'm now able to wear the grey or black with my scrub pants for work if I'm wanting something a little different.

Best Maternity Bottoms

Okay- I've got 3 incredible bottoms for you.

1) These ultra comfy, super cute, VERY flattering denim shorts are a literal must have for your spring/summer maternity wardrobe. Honestly if I'm going out, I'm wearing these. So stretchy, not too short, I love them.

2) These soft, stretchy, shapely dreams are my second go to's for shorts this spring/summer. I lounge in them. I walk in them. I nap in them. A++++ shorts. Also, I'm 5'2" and the length is fine on me. These get more wear than the denim, simply for the loungability factor. *chefs kiss*

3) Last but not least. These leggings started me off on the right foot, and you best believe they'll be with me til the end, too. The elastic top is perfect when your bump is still small, and perfect when your bump is huge, as well. So soft. So comfy. (Can you see a pattern for what I like to wear?) I got these in black first and when they came in I loved them so much I jumped right back on Amazon and bought these charcoal ones lol.

Best Nursing Bras

These bras from Target- granted I have not been able to use these for nursing yet, so I can get back with you on that part, but they are very comfy and seem like they'd do the job! I wear them literally every single day. They are the only bras I've been wearing since all my others stopped fitting. I like the support they give while not being too tight.

Best Maternity Bonus Goodies!!

1) Cutest bathing suit ever. Period. Wore this to the lake as you can see below as well!

2) If you're a jeans gal, these are for you. These are honestly so flattering. Very comfy on the bump, too! I wore these a lot in my second trimester, but then it got way too hot for jeans so I'm mostly wearing the shorts I linked above.

All in all, I like to keep it pretty simple. Hope these suggestions can help you other simple girlies out there keep the cost down on this seemingly-long-but-relatively-short-in-the-scheme-of-things period of time! Share your fave maternity pieces in the comments below and thanks for reading!

Love,

JT
